Orienteering at Athens 2027
Orienteering is a navigation and running discipline that combines physical effort with strategic thinking. Participants race through mapped terrain, making routing decisions under pressure in a race against the clock.
Competitors use a map and compass to locate a series of checkpoints in the fastest possible time. The discipline rewards both running fitness and the ability to think clearly and decisively while moving at pace.
