The Organizing Committee of the 26th ECSG is hosting the Opening Ceremony at the Panathenaic Stadium offering participants a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The Closing Ceremony will take place at the National Gymnastics Club (Ethnikos Athinon), in a festive atmosphere.

The events programme of ECSG ATHENS 2027 creates memorable shared experiences throughout the week of the Games. From the ceremonial opening to the final celebration, each event adds a different dimension to the atmosphere and brings together participants, delegations and visitors in a spirit of connection and celebration.
Opening ceremony
The Opening Ceremony will take place at the historic Panathenaic Stadium, a site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Athletes will participate in a grand parade, celebrating European company sport and the spirit of fair play. The ceremony will combine music, performances, and cultural elements, providing a unique and memorable experience for all participants.

Closing ceremony
The Closing Ceremony will celebrate achievements, showcase athletic excellence, and provide a joyful conclusion to ECSG ATHENS 2027. Participants will enjoy music, awards, cultural showcases, and networking opportunities with colleagues from across Europe.

Athens City Nights
Klathmonos Square | 17 & 18 June 2027 | 20:00 – 23:00
As part of the European Company Sport Games Athens 2027, participants and accompanying persons are invited to enjoy two unforgettable evenings of entertainment and hospitality in the historic Klafthmonos Square, one of the most iconic public squares in the heart of Athens.
With the Support of the Develop Athens S.A, these special evenings will transform the city center into a vibrant meeting point where athletes from more than 40 countries can come together to celebrate friendship, company sport and the spirit of European unity.
From 20:00 until 23:00, Klafthmonos Square will come alive with music, entertainment and a festive atmosphere, offering visitors an authentic Athenian experience. Located in the very center of the city and surrounded by historic landmarks, the square is within walking distance of Syntagma Square, Ermou Street, the picturesque Plaka district and the world-famous Acropolis, making it the perfect place to experience Athens after a day of competition.
